DJ Yazza needed an elegant digital home that reflected the deep, bass-heavy, and premium nature of his live sets. The old site felt disconnected from the energy of his performances.

We designed and built a highly bespoke audio platform from scratch — featuring a sticky, gapless music player, an editorial mix catalog, and a completely custom, branded admin panel that makes updating content effortless without breaking the frontend experience.

What We Built

  • Sticky persistent audio player
  • Editorial mix catalogue
  • Bespoke branded admin CMS
  • Tap-to-play mobile interactions
  • Mix deletion safety validations
  • Premium branded loading states
  • Interactive social footprints

Tech Stack

  • Custom Object-Oriented JS Architecture
  • Node.js & Express backend
  • HTML5 Audio API
  • SQLite embedded database
  • Custom SVG vector animations
  • VPS deployment
  • NGINX Reverse Proxy
01

Sticky Audio Persistence

The most important piece of a DJ's site is the music. We built a persistent music player that seamlessly continues playback across page transitions, allowing users to browse without breaking their listening session.

02

Editorial Visual Language

We swapped generic templates for a dark, tactile, structured aesthetic. Large typography, crisp spacing, and high-contrast glassmorphic elements give the mix covers room to breathe and command attention.

03

Tailored Admin Experience

The backend isn't an afterthought. We built a custom PIN-gated CMS specifically designed for mobile, allowing Yazza to upload mixes, grab artwork, and manage sets right from the DJ booth with zero friction.

A clean, structural layout engineered for larger screens, maintaining the immersive dark studio vibe while giving the persistent audio player maximum focus.

DJ Yazza Desktop Experience

Users stream sets from their phones. The full interface was designed mobile-first with smooth tap-to-expand drawers, deep glassmorphic layers, and zero friction.
